March marked the highest month for bus ridership in HART history!
Fast facts:
- March 2011 bus ridership of 1,217,848 is a 14 percent increase compared to March 2010 bus ridership of 1,064,623.
- March 2011 marks for the first time 13 consecutive months of more than 1 million in bus ridership.
- Bus ridership year-to-date (October 2010 - March 2011) has increased nearly 14 percent compared to the same months last fiscal year.
- To help get out the vote, HART offered free rides for City of Tampa Elections on March 1 and March 22. More than 2,100 voters hopped on HART!
