Take the Bite out of the Dog Days of Summer with HART

HART Thanks Customers for Record Ridership as it Rolls Out End of Summer Promotions!

HART's Dogs Days of Summer promotionTAMPA, Fla. -- As the Dog Days of Summer are upon us, the Hillsborough Area Regional Transit Authority (HART) celebrates record-breaking ridership by thanking our valued customers.

Starting August 13, HART is introducing a series of ridership promotions aimed at taking the bite out of the dog days of summer. This series of promotions demonstrate our appreciation to our current riders, and will show potential riders how easy it is to get around with public transportation.

Included in the promotions are BOGO discount offers and free rides on HARTflex, local and express service.

"We know that times are tough," said HART CEO David Armijo. "We want to give back to our riders.  Hopefully, with the Dog Days of Summer promotion we can help them save some green, while going green."

The Dog Days of Summer promotion begins August 13, with BOGO offers on all cash fares and One Day Unlimited Ride fare cards when you ride with a companion during the Sales Tax Holiday Weekend. The promotions end with the Youth Field Trip special offered during the month of September.
