Happy March everyone! The unseasonably warm winter here in Saint Louis has brought on some serious spring fever for me. So many new things are happening, which seems fitting for the season which we are about to enter.

Just a few weeks ago, Hilary Scott and The New County Line was thrilled to add bassist Austin Fitzgerald to the group. We have been working tirelessly to flesh out arrangements now that we have a fourth member. Josh Schilling and myself now will do some more multi-instrumental work, and the first example of this will be at our upcoming show at Plush Saint Louis when Josh will play mandolin on one of our newest songs. We are very much looking forward to a year of great new music!

Recently, my good friend and longtime member of The Hilary Scott Band, Mike Robertson, (I definitely recommend you give his musical work a listen and read his fabulous short stories!!) remixed a couple of my songs from one of my earliest albums, Hypothermia, and one of them was made available on my Facebook music page.

Wednesday, March 7th, Hilary Scott and The New County Line perform at Plush Saint Louis. This newly renovated, beautiful 750-seat venue in Midtown boasts great food and musical experiences. Bella Kalei opens the show at 8:30, and Hilary Scott and The New County Line perform from 9:30-10:30. Free admission.

Hilary Scott and The New County Line recently added a fourth member, bassist Austin Fitzgerald, and are continuing national promotion of their recent release, Still.

Hilary Scott is to be a featured artist on Indie Showcase in the next several months. Her music will be played on the station on regular rotation, she will have a feature page on their website, will engage in a two-hour interview via Skype so that listeners from around the world can tune in, and will also be on their special Pay it Forward show where she will offer up selections of other independent artists she knows and loves for listeners to discover.
