Happy Holidays
Hilary Scott   Hello from Hilary Scott Road To Hope CD Release
Another busy couple of months has come and gone, with much to show for it! The band's November 11th release of Road to Hope was a happy success - I can't thank my fellow band members, family, friends and fans enough for helping bring the journey on this Road to Hope to a satisfying conclusion. The Martini Bar was full, the band was ON, and we got a professional DVD (soon to be on-sale) by Jeff Bassinson with the assistance of soundman Byron Neighbors out of the night - I hope you all get a chance to check it out, especially if you weren't able to make the CD release party. Listeners were 'treated' to my completely un-rehearsed rendition of an Italian song, "Il Mio Canto Libero..." I suppose I will be adventurous enough to try it again someday soon!

Recently having joined the My Space revolution, I've found old friends and new fans I'd not have been blessed to be in contact with otherwise - check out the Hilary Scott Band and Hilary Scott Music My Space sites when you get a chance and become one of our friends!

Changes on the musical horizon include the arrival of fellow musician and friend from Italy, Giuseppe D'Alessio, who will be collaborating on a couple of different projects including some jazz tunes! Look for us to appear at Grand Cru and other venues with this 'new sound' in the first few months of the coming year.

Exciting changes are on the horizon - and I hope you'll continue on this journey with me - wouldn't be doing this without you - the person reading this newsletter!

Happy Holidays to everyone - I hope your travels are safe and your hearts are full of love.

Industry News
Road To Hope CD Release Setup
Road to Hope, the Hilary Scott Band's third release and the 6th album available for purchase, was released on November 11th at the Martini Bar in Columbia, MO. MP3 clips of the songs are available for your perusal on www.hilaryscott.com, www.myspace.com, and www.cdbaby.com. The Road To Hope features a gorgeous 16-page booklet. The booklet photographs and art are all the work of Kevin Dingman, the band's talented photographer. The Road To Hope Roadies are all featured on the back of the booklet. Thank you again, Roadies, for your wonderful support. And of course, the exciting, beautiful music you hear on Road To Hope is performed by Hilary Scott and her terrific band: Bill Adams (acoustic guitar, slide), Michael Bielski (djembe, percussion), Carol Elliot (cello), Matt Griffin (harmonica), Robert Lampe (electric guitar, lap steel), Mike Robertson (bass) and Loyd Warden (drums). Road To Hope was produced through the expertise of Stephen Gardner, The Music House. The tracks were recorded at the Bridge Studio and The Music House in Columbia, and mastered by Dave Shipley, Foxwood Mastering, Nashville. A big "thank you" to everyone who participated in creating this exceptional musical and visual work of art.

For fans in the Topeka, Kansas area, Uncle Bo's has graciously invited the band back after a recent cancellation due to illness. Hilary and the band will play TWO nights on February 23rd and 24th, so if you're anywhere near the area, come to this great blues bar - the band would love to see your face there!

Tony Barbis of 102.3 FM KBXR in Columbia featured Hilary's music the Sunday prior to the CD release party - more than 10 songs from her various albums were featured. In other radio news, KKFI FM 90.1 in Topeka featured Hilary's music recently. As mentioned earlier, Dino's Dockside, a great webcast out of Boston, will showcase Hilary as the only featured artist on Dino's next show, this Wednesday, December 13th!

In Nashville, exciting developments are on the horizon! We will keep you posted!

Roadie Party
Fellow travelers on the Road To Hope Roadie Party
Well - a last minute change of venue made the Roadie pre-release party even more intimate and fun! Ray From Texas drove all the way from....Illinois, and everyone had such a great time, there is talk of a "Roadie Reunion" next year!

Thanks to band member Bill Adams for providing a beautiful outdoor setting for our performance and On- The-Side catering for amazing food. Most of all, thanks to the Roadies for the faith in, and support of, our music.
