Over 40 Maryland foundations accept ABAG's Common Grant Application format. "Community Comes Through for City Schools"

Out of nearly 600 applications, only 23 grants were awarded, two of which will be implemented in Baltimore City Public Schools - By Betsy Nelson, Special to The Daily Record, February 28, 2012

"Legal Safety Net Needs Stable Funding"

Nor would most people be surprised to learn that there are more people living in poverty in the United States today than at any other time in our country's history - By Betsy Nelson, Special to The Daily Record, February 12, 2012

Casey Foundation, Adventures in Philanthropy Blog, February 21, 2012
