Dr. DeMichele is assistant professor of medicine and epidemiology at the University of Pennsylvania and co-director of the breast cancer program of the Abramson Cancer Center. Dr. DeMichele's research focuses on response to therapy and development of targeted therapies. She is a principal investigator of numerous clinical trials and epidemiologic studies and serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Clinical Oncology.

Ms. Mason is executive director of the Inflammatory Breast Cancer Research Foundation, a lay advocacy organization dedicated to the advancement of inflammatory breast cancer research and increasing awareness of IBC and its symptoms to improve detection and diagnosis. She is a member of the Oncology Nursing Society, National Breast Cancer Coalition, and American Society of Clinical Oncology.
