See the ANHS Music website for our new Fundraiser Auctions, which today features tickets for 2 to some great concerts at the Hyatt Newport Beach and the Pacific Symphony. 100% of the proceeds directly benefit the General Fund, so make a generous bid on these items now.

Taste Of Aliso Niguel Tickets Available
| |
Tickets for the 2011 Taste of Aliso Niguel fundraising event - to be held on Saturday, Oct 8 from 6:00-9:00pm, are now on-sale via the event website. This is a major fundraising effort for our organization, as $25 is returned to our Band Booster general fund for every ticket purchased that is tagged for our group.
*BE SURE* that when you order tickets to designate "Band - Instrumental Music" when selecting the booster club. Encourage your neighbors and friends to designate our group when they order their tickets as-well.

Booster Meeting - Sept 14 7:00p

The ANHS Instrumental Music Boosters will meet THIS WEDNESDAY, September 14, at 7:00pm in the ANHS Band Room. On the agenda are discussion about our current financial position, program changes due to financial shortfall, plans for upcoming fundraisers, and an update from Mr. Weinberg. Your attendance and participation is important, so please be sure to attend.

 | Volunteers Needed | |
Volunteers are needed on our Logistics and Uniform teams to help assist with getting the Band and Colorguard on and off the field for all performances. In addition, we need help with:
- Placement/removal of seat covers in stadium seating area
- Water for students
- Trash can to collect water bottles for recycling
- Uniforms, plumes, and glove-check
- Assistance with moving equipment on/off the field
First home football game is THIS FRIDAY, Sept 16 -
so please sign-up today.

 | Help Keep Us Hydrated | |
We can always use donations of bottled water to help keep our students hydrated at their performances. With 110+ students in this year's program - it takes a lot of water to make sure everyone has something to drink.
Please consider donating a case or two of bottled water the next time you visit your grocery or Costco. If you have questions or if you have water you'd like to donate, please contact Marvin Swan for more information.

 | Silent Auction Items Request | |
As part of the Taste of Aliso Niguel fundraising event, to be held at the Summit Campus offices on Saturday, October 8th from 6:00 - 9:00pm, we will be holding a Silent Auction. Donations of gift baskets, local gift certificates, concert and sporting event tickets, and other items that guests can bid-on will help us raise more than the $2,500 we made last year on this event.
Please contact Mary Cash, who is again coordinating the Silent Auction for the Taste of Aliso Niguel, for more information.

 | Cow Chip Bingo |
Ticket sales for Cow Chip Bingo are underway. We have 3,000 tickets to sell - so everyone's assistance is needed to ensure this fundraiser is a huge success.
The event will take place just after the Laguna Hills Holiday Parade on December 10th, at the "Upper Soccer Field" of the YMCA/Laguna Niguel Community Center on Crown Valley. Tickets are $5 each - with prizes of $250, $500, and $1000 to the winners. Students are also eligible to win prizes for having sold the winning tickets, as well as for selling the most tickets.

 | Spirit Wear Now Available Online | |
There are new Spirit Wear items available for order in our Online Store - including embroidered caps, polo shirts, t-shirts, sweatshirts, and an all-weather 'team jacket'. Each item is made-to-order, so we won't be carrying items in inventory for sale. Normal delivery time is 3 weeks from receipt of order.
All profits from the sale of items on the Online Store directly benefit our programs.

 | Marching Band Competition | |
Reserve Saturday, October 29th in your calendars ... because we're going to need everyone's help with our first MBOS Marching Band Competition at Aliso Niguel HS. We are going to need volunteers to help with *all* aspects of the show - from selling and collecting tickets, preparing and selling food, managing traffic and buses, directing bands to/from rehearsal areas, and everything that goes along with staffing a marching band competition. It will be a full day of hard work - but we're counting on this event being successful, to help generate funds for our programs.

 | New Online Volunteer Registry | |
Volunteers are the life-blood of our organization and without an active group of people to support our various programs and fund raising efforts, things just don't get done. We have created a new Volunteer section on our website, which provides information about the roles and tasks associated with our Volunteer Committees.
A new Volunteer Registration form now automatically saves your volunteer profile and event/task selections - making it very easy to return to the site to review and update your profile information and selections. All information is stored in our database and readily available for committee chairpersons.
