EDSI Solutions is hosting a Job Fair from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Thursday, October 21, 2011 at 3000 Highwoods Boulevard, Suite 220, Raleigh, NC 27604. 
 
There will be approximately 10-15 employers present the day of the fair.  
 
Please bring your resume and dress professionally.

Access JobLink is an annual program offered through Capital Area Workforce Development's JobLink System. The AmeriCorps Access JobLink 'Class of 2012' started in September with 15 new AmeriCorps members, each with a shared interest in community service and volunteerism. Read more.

Capital Area Workforce Development, in partnership with Johnston County Industries, Johnston Health, and Johnston Community College, was awarded a grant from the NC Department of Commerce for a two-year Food & Beverage Industry Training Initiative. The initiative provides dislocated workers who are interested in pursuing careers in the Food and Hospitality Industry an opportunity to get classroom training as well as hands-on work experience in a fully functioning kitchen and cafe. New FOCUS Points Opened

FOCUS Points (Faith-Based Organizations Creating Ultimate Employment Success) is a new initiative of Capital Area Workforce Development where JobLink Staff train faith based volunteers to offer job search advice to their members.

Each FOCUS Point identifies their own advisor to receive training. They also receive WinWay resume writing software and job search assistance books and resources. FOCUS Points becomes part of the JobLink network with a connection to all local JobLink Career Centers for ongoing support, resources and announcements, such as career fairs, job opportunities and JobLink events.
