Dear Hancock Friends,

Sean and I would like to share some wonderful news with you -- we are pregnant! We are expecting our little one to arrive in February. I've been feeling good and our baby appears healthy and well at this 19th week mark (almost 5 months).

We would like to thank you for journeying with us this year, through the excitement of our first pregnancy to our devastating loss in March. We have learned how faithful God is and that we do not travel through the dark valleys alone.

As Christians, we spend much of life between loss and hope, between what we expected and what's become reality, and it's during such "inbetween" times that we learn to trust that God is working to bring good, to bring hope, to bring new life.

So for me, new life has come, and for that I'm deeply grateful. I know that for many women and men who have experienced loss and disappointment, new life and new hope remain elusive.  We ask you again to hold in your prayers all of those who are dealing with infertility, with the loss of a baby, who are waiting on adoption lists, or who are expecting a new child.

            Grace & peace,

                                    Dana & Sean
