To make a donation through our secure server, go to our Donate Online page. We pay no transaction fees but don't get the check until the 20th of the month following your donation. Welcome to the new format for our What's New email. Our goal is to help you understand our guests, what we do for them, and how you can help. Let me know if there is anything you'd like to see us talk about in these emails. When you participate in any way, you are helping to bring the homeless of Chicago food, shelter, and one-on-one help in building a better life. Together we can improve the lives of the 4,097 different persons who come to our doors each year.

Keep Looking Up!
What does it mean to you if someone were to tell you to keep looking up? These are words Robin lives by. He tries to keep looking up.... - to God who helps him - to the case managers and others who know how to help him
reach his goals
- by staying optimistic despite difficult challenges
This is rather amazing, since Robin has been homeless off and on since he was 17 years old and has many obstacles that have gotten in his way. He is now 54 and has been housed for two years now with the help of our case managers. You can see and hear Robin for yourself on our YouTube site at www.youtube.com/franoutreach. If you are on our mailing list, watch your mail box for a letter with more details about Robin and his road to success. You'll enjoy Robin's refreshing optimism! If you aren't on our list, email me with your address and I'll send you the letter.
You can help people like Robin by participating in our Keep Looking Up Appeal. Our goal for the end of this year is to raise $297,190 to keep our programs operating and end the year in the black and another $37,597 to hire a second case manager for the shelter.
