Promise for Haiti is a 501(c)3 philanthropic organization dedicated to Health Care, Education, Clean Water, Agriculture and Economic Development.
"Promise for Haiti exists to initiate and nurture the spiritual growth of the people of the Pignon area and to practically demonstrate the love of Jesus Christ to them by providing the region with primary and acute health care, essential sanitation facilities, agricultural training and functional literacy, basic educational opportunity, and economic growth and development."

Jaipur Project Gives New Lease On Life! Evenel Osias reports from Pignon, "On Thursday, May 24, 2012, the three technicians who were attached to Jaipur workshop Pignon finished with the three patients from St Michel, Cerca Carvajal and St Raphael areas. The patients were sent home with prostheses after a very large practice session in the parallel bar".
As shown in these pictures, patients received prostheses and a new lease on life from this clinic.

Partners Recall Formation of Promise For Haiti, Inc. at June Meeting June
"How did you get involved in the mission?"
"What excites you about it?"
These are the questions that Denny Brand posed to the Partners as many people from Haiti, California to New York met in June.
It made all remember how the mission began to practice the love of Jesus. Thirty years ago many ideas and dreams were formed.
Exciting things are happening in Pignon. A Hospital de Bienfaisance task force has been created. Mission and Vision statements along with strategies have been developed to meet the challenges of providing health care in Haiti. This task force came together to make Hospital de Bienfaisance a shining light to the people of Haiti in order to bring glory to Jesus Christ.
Priority projects were reviewed as stated below:
- Septic Repair
- Nurse training
- Outpatient Clinic
- Completion of Maternity House
- Repairs to Doctor's Quarters
- Improving School Programs-teacher training,school meals and building renovations

Partners Take Action!
Many hours of planning, prayers, and labor are used to help Partners provide services through Promise For Haiti, Inc. Our gratitude is given for all that you do!
Here is a list of some of the Partners who have been active.
Rotary International Rotary Clubs from around the world have actively been supporting the Promise for Haiti mission in Pignon. Rotary has built and is supporting St. Collette's Christian School in Santiak, is providing funds for the nearly completed Prosthetics Lab and Clinic, is providing a grant to upgrade and replace the septic system at the hospital and has funded numerous other projects in and around the hospital. Project Haiti Project Haiti is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to medical care, education and related services in Haiti since 1992. Their efforts are directed entirely toward equipment, supplies and personnel support at Hopital Bienfaisance, a 65 bed trauma hospital in the town of Pignon on Haiti's Central Plateau, located 65 miles north of Port au Prince. http://www.projecthaiti.info/project_haiti/welcome.html
Many Hands 4 Haiti Many Hands 4 Haiti is a non-profit organization dedicated to its mission of "Making Jesus Real to the People of Haiti". MH4H built the new kitchen at the hospital and is funding the feeding program. MH4H is currently overseeing the building of the new Pella Christian School under construction near Sauvanette as well as sponsoring short term mission trips and missionaries working with Promise for Haiti in Pignon. Meals from the Heartland Meals from the Heartland is a non-profit organization composed of volunteers who package meals for delivery to starving people around the world. Individuals, businesses, schoools, churches and various civic organizations have come together to show the nation and the world what people who truly care can accomplish. Five Loaves Promise for Haiti is partnering with Five Loaves to offer families in the Pignon area Health Development Accounts. Each HDA provides preventative and acture healthcare to families through Hospital Bienfaisance in Pignon. The plan also promotes economic development with mechanisms for micro-finance.
Fargo Medical Mission Mission Statement: Fargo Medical Mission is dedicated to sharing their medical skills and resources with the local doctors and medical staff of Pignon, to improve the lives and healthcare for the people there. Vision Statemant: Fargo Medical Mission is dedicated to improving healthcare delivery in the village of Pignon by providing new and recycled medical supplies, teaching the local health providers and providing surgery to the people which is otherwise not available. http://haitimedicalmission.org
