A Message from our Executive Director!
HELP,HELP, HELP, AND THANKS, THANKS, THANKS!
There are many positives that have happened in Pignon - one being the Cholera Clinic and the fact that the numbers are way down! A great need has occured to improve on the septic and sanitation system at the hospital. This is an expense that we had not planned on and need your help. We are writing grants and doing our best to find outside sources of money, but there are costs that are occuring that we can't wait on. We don't want this expense to affect other areas, so if you can find some way to help with the costs - that would be absolutely awesome. I am praying that by the next newsletter we have all the costs covered!
Blessings to all of you and thanks for all the ways you support the mission.
Denny Brand,
Executive Director

Many Thanks to Naturally Wallace Consulting!
NWC is part of the team donating services to provide an improved treatment system at the Hospital Bienfaisance De Pignon. It is the premier consulting firm in the world which works
with the environment to treat unique and complex wastewater streams using constructed wetlands and patented Forced-bed Aeration TM technology. Having taken hundreds of the most advanced treatment wetland systems on the planet from concept through construction and operations, NWC pushes the boundaries of environmental engineering to design long-term ecological solutions for the most difficult wastewater treatment challenges. It is based in Stillwater, MInn.
Due to a limited access to a reliable power supply, a low operation and maintenance constructed wetland system on land adjacent to the hospital. Hospital wastewater will be collected and directed to a septic tank and effluent from the tank will flow by gravity to a constructed wetland and then to a seepage field. This project is still in the beginning stages.
The project is being directed by Promise for Haiti. Herb Sinkkink who volunteers with his onsite plumbing services and Marc Henkel, an NWC associate, have just returned from Pignon to begin the project.
Promise For Haiti Inc. uses donations to help with many areas in order to make life better for those who live in Pignon! Through your thoughts, prayers, and gifts this is made possible!
