futures for kids

Greetings!

Nothing reminds us of the unfettered potential of childhood like summer vacation--thank you for partnering with us to inspire and mentor our future workforce. In the meantime, take a few minutes to chase some lightning bugs, run through the sprinklers or splash in a few puddles this summer.

North Carolina's current focus on STEM education (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) is well-warranted; some estimates indicate 80% of the jobs created in the next decade will require some mastery of technology, math and science and that two-thirds of those jobs don't even exist today.

Do you know anyone in these or related careers?
Help us connect our future workforce to their insight and experience.
