EDITOR'S COMMENTS December 6, 1941 we, the American people, were going about our daily lives seemingly without a care in the world. There was war in Europe, people were dying from tyranny, lives being turned upside down, freedoms were being suppressed with no one showing concern here in America. I was hoping against all odds that the will of the people would prevail. However, inside my heart I knew that it was hopeless. Nine impartial and totally objective Americans with no personal interests, outside influences, or opinions have decided the fate of millions of Americans for generations to come. It was interesting to ponder why one Supreme Court justice who helped draft Obamacare, did not recuse herself from this decision - the stakes of fundamental transformation of America must have been too high to follow ethical standards. Today the Supreme Court released its ruling on Obamacare, that hideous monstrosity that unleashed unlimited federal power upon the people it purports to serve. Mark your calendars for Tuesday, July 10. ATPP and Pearland TEA Party are having a joint event at the Lion's Club, 3350 Hwy 35, Pearland beginning at 6:00 pm. BBQ sandwiches, water and soda will be available for a donation until 6:30 pm.
We have confirmed Felicia Harris (candidate for US Representative CD 14), Dr. Robin Armstrong (Texas' National Committeeman), Greg Parker (candidate for Railroad Commissioner, unexpired term), Lela Pittenger (former candidate for US Senate) will speak on behalf of Ted Cruz (candidate for US Senate) and Travis Hagler (local geologist) will speak on "Global Deception and Water Conservation".
