SE 912 Partners is fortunate to have another top flight speaker. Local author Haag Sherman will discuss topics in his bookShattering Orthodoxies: An Economic and Foreign Policy Blueprint for America as follows:
1.Entitlement/Budgetary Reform. How entitlements and defense need to be sharply reformed to appropriately scale them to our economic base.
2. Monetary / Fiscal Policy / Europe. How our monetary policy fueled the last crisis and what is ahead of us. How the coming events in the Eurozone will affect us here in the United States.
3. Immigration. How the demographic trends of aging populations in the industrialized world will require a new policy of controlled immigration allowing an influx of semi-skilled workers betweeen the ages of 16 and 30 whose benefits outweigh the costs.
Haag encourages audience interaction and questions both during and immediately after his talk.
