WHAT IS AGENDA 21?

 Most of us are unaware that the plan we are fighting is the same plan, with minor variations, being imposed in the name of reducing greenhouse gas emissions, expanding public transportation, and funding low-income housing.  All plans include Smart Growth-high density housing with restrictions on personal space and car usage.  All plans support high speed trains-the building block of Mega-Regions.  All plans give power to regional transportation and planning boards (MPOs and COGs) through federal and state fund disbursements.

Each week we will be posting a segment explaining Agenda 21....what is it?....where did it originate?....what does it mean for future generations of Americans?....where and how is it being implemented?....can we stop it?.....what do we need to look for?   For this segment I encourage you to click on the link below for a very good explanation of Agenda 21 by a young man talking to the City Council of Austin who went ahead and approved the motion anyway.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3h-lTRxKu3A&feature=player_embedded

Galveston County Tea Party is excited to host the Republican candidates for Chairman of the Galveston County Republican Party and candidates for Galveston County Commissioner of precinct one.

Republican Forums and Meet & Greet Functions   

Saturday, March 17th, Meet & Greet our very own Heidi Thiess, running for HD 24, Robert Gonzalez, running for CD 14, and John Bentley, running for Galveston County Republican Chair, at the Arms Room in League City. Stay tuned for more details!

 

Tuesday, March 20th, Bay Area Republican Women are hosting a Candidate Forum for Republican Primary Candidates for SD11 and State Rep. Dist. 129; 6:15 p.m. sign in, meet and greet; 7 p.m. The Forum will be conducted at the Bay Oaks Country Club.

 

 Tuesday, March 20th, Republican & Grassroots Leadership Unity Luncheon hosted by John Bentley with guest speaker Dr. Robin Armstrong.  This meeting will be held at the Gulf Greyhound Park Club Restaurant from 11 to 1 and the cost for lunch will be $20.

 

Wednesday, March 21st, Galveston Republican Women are hosting a Republican Candidate Forum for TX House Districts 23 and 24 along with TX Senate District 11. Cocktail buffet ($16) 5:30 - 6:00 Forum is 6 to 8. This event is open to the public. 

 

Thursday, March 22nd, Friendswood Republican Women are hosting a Republican Candidate Meet & Greet. All Candidates that are able to attend, will be given a 3 minute chance to express their core values and why they are running. This event will take place at Perry's Restaurant 614 S. Friendswood Dr  Friendswood, TX 77546 and will begin at 11:15.
