It is important to remember that this is an issue of humanity as well as legality. Therefore we need to be aware of what is said and how it is said in discussing these issues because you can be sure that any improper wording or seeming lack of compassion will come back to be used against us.

Galveston County Tea Party is excited to host the Republican candidates for Chairman of the Galveston County Republican Party and candidates for Galveston County Commissioner of precinct one.

Republican Forums and Meet & Greet Functions

Wednesday, March 7th, Billing's Jewelry is hosting a 2012 Republican Primary candidate meet & greet. Their location is 17304 Hwy 3 (at Medical Center Blvd.) in Webster. This event will take place from 3 to 6:30.  

 

This Thursday, March 8th, our very own Robert Gonzalez will be participating in this televised debate featuring Congressional District 14 candidates! Golden Triangle Republican Women, 7 p.m. March 8 at the Jefferson Theater, 345 Fannin St, Beaumont. Doors open at 6 p.m. ---- Feel a quick trip coming on!

 

Saturday, March 17th, Meet & Greet our very own Heidi Thiess, running for HD 24, Robert Gonzalez, running for CD 14, and John Bentley, running for Galveston County Republican Chair, at the Arms Room in League City. Stay tuned for more details!

 

Tuesday, March 20th, Bay Area Republican Women are hosting a Candidate Forum for Republican Primary Candidates for SD11 and State Rep. Dist. 129; 6:15 p.m. sign in, meet and greet; 7 p.m. forum begins. (Location TBA)

 

 Tuesday, March 20th, Republican & Grassroots Leadership Unity Luncheon hosted by John Bentley with guest speaker Dr. Robin Armstrong.  This meeting will be held at the Gulf Greyhound Park Club Restaurant from 11 to 1 and the cost for lunch will be $20.

 

Wednesday, March 21st, Galveston Republican Women are hosting a Republican Candidate Forum for TX House Districts 23 and 24 along with TX Senate District 11. Cocktail buffet ($16) 5:30 - 6:00 Forum is 6 to 8. This event is open to the public. 

 

Thursday, March 22nd, Friendswood Republican Women are hosting a Republican Candidate Meet & Greet. All Candidates that are able to attend, will be given a 3 minute chance to express their core values and why they are running. This event will take place at Perry's Restaurant 614 S. Friendswood Dr  Friendswood, TX 77546 and will begin at 11:15.
