PHILMONT FARMERS' MARKET
SUNDAY JUNE 10th
10am to 1pm

Dear friends,logo 1

What a wonderful, sweet early summer opening last Sunday!  A sincere and deep-felt "Thank You" to all who joined the moment making it the best market opening day we've seen. We know we all have so much to be grateful for living in such a spring-point community which you can see growing by just being a part of it. Priceless! Philmont was hopping - including a great art show by Free Columbia, a free Puppet play on the Greene - huge 10ft puppets, brunch going on at four restaurants, kayaks and flat boats out on the lake, and breakfast sandwiches at the market available at the Philmont Market & Cafe stand.

Big steps for a little upstate village coming back from the edge.

Furse Photos - folk are buying non-Columbia County jig-saw puzzles - Fire Island took the lead this market, along with post cards of our favorite dogs, historic houses in Columbia County, and of course beautiful note cards of some of the prettiest garden flowers.

Market Manager - Sebastian - "Wow, this was the best opening day we've had - so great to see."  "I've got lots of new ideas talking with everyone and listening to their thoughts and support."

That's just a glimpse of what took place last market.   You'll have to come over to get the full picture of this very special little market taking place every Sunday in Philmont. Hang out in the open cafe, absorb the sweet energy, and please, feel free to be a part of this market growing step by step!
