Featured Customer: Chick Beer
As one of Inland Label's newest customers, Chick Beer has been sweeping the nation. Chick Beer is the only American beer created just for women. Brewed at America's second oldest brewery, located in beautiful southern Wisconsin, Chick is a craft-brewed light beer that doesn't taste like a light beer. Its flavor is smooth, soft, and full-bodied, yet the beer has just 97 calories and 3.5 carbs. Chick's labels and packaging are quite unique in the industry, helping to differentiate the brand. Check out a short video on Chick Beer that was recently featured on "The Early Show," and you can Witness the Chickness!
Cost Reduction: A Ticket to Innovation
Have you ever thought of using cost reduction as a catalyst for innovation? Typically, an innovative idea is supported by qualitative facts and predictions, which are not quantifiable the way cost reductions are. This can make it harder to push your innovative idea through and make it a reality. On the other hand, no one is going to oppose cost savings, especially when it doesn't jeopardize quality and actually has the potential to increase market share. A recent article by 4sight, an NYC-based design and innovation firm, highlights a valuable formula and approach to innovation using cost reduction as a catalyst. Click here to read more.

Case in Point: Roll-Fed IML Delivers Savings
Plas-Pak Industries, along with one of the leading manufacturers of veterinary products, revitalized two of its product lines by switching to Roll-Fed IML from Pressure Sensitive labels. A recognizable advantage for the customer is that Roll-Fed IML eliminates the need for a secondary application process; products can now be molded and labeled all in one step. From a sustainability standpoint, the new products are 100% recyclable and the thinner gauge film provides both eco-friendly advantages as well as cost savings. By switching to
Roll-Fed IML, Inland Label's customer has achieved a cost savings of three to five times their previous label cost. Learn more about Roll-Fed IML and if it is right for you, click here.
