LEARN WHAT HIGH PERFORMANCE HEALTH CARE FACILITIES REQURE
LEED rating systems have been modified for certain types of buildings, including health care facilities. Integrating the specific requirements of a hospital or medical center with the requirements of the LEED rating systems is a challenging and continual process, however. You can find out what those challenges are and how to meet them by participating in MCAA's next Green Building Webinar, Building High Performance Health Care Facilities, on July 26, at 1:00 Eastern time. Matt Gregg PE, LEED AP of McKinstry Company (Seattle, WA) will lead the session and answer all your questions about this exciting area of our industry. This webinar is free as a benefit of MCAA/MSCA membership; please register (https://mcaa.webex.com).

EVEN THE MOST EXPERIENCED PROJECT MANAGERS CAN LEARN A LOT AT AIPM
Experience may be the best teacher, but if your most experienced project managers are too busy to keep up with the latest techniques and technologies, then you need to send them to the next Advanced Institute for Project Management (AIPM) (January 20-25, 2013 at the University of Texas in Austin, TX). Taught by our industry's top experts at a highly advanced level, AIPM Class 9 offers your best and most seasoned project managers the opportunity to explore new ways of taking on the toughest project management challenges. The updated curriculum includes team building, keeping customers for life, legal issues, staying on top of schedule and productivity impacts, avoiding litigation, operational management, insurance and bonding, goal setting, and much more. MCAA recommends that you send only graduates of the Institute for Project Management with some project management experience or advanced project managers with considerable experience. To register for AIPM Class 9, contact Beth Miller at bmiller@mcaa.org or at 800-556-3653. |
