The Week Leading up to The Seventh Sunday of Easter

Thought of the Week

Every once in a while we have a chance to gather to worship God in a unique and special way. Sunday, June 12 will be such an occasion at St. Stephen's.  At 5:00 in the evening, we will gather for an evening prayer service dating back to the 1549 Book of Common Prayer called Evensong.   Our choir and guest singers have been practicing twice per week for weeks.  All you have to do is come, sit in a pew, and allow the prayers and music to wash over you.  Come step into the Holy space created by beautiful music and meaningful prayers.  Come and allow yourself to be swept up into the throngs of angels that will sing God's praises with our choir and allow your heart to be satisfied.  Come and be moved by the Holy Spirit.  Come.

See you in Church!

Fr. Josh
