The NNA State and District 3 election is underway. Ballots are being mailed today, Tuesday, September 7, and must be returned within 45 days. We thank the candidates for their willingness to serve.
 
The election will again be conducted electronically through Survey Monkey for everyone who has a valid email address.  Members without email will receive paper ballots. If you do not receive your ballot in a timely fashion, contact us.
 
Please take time to vote. Your vote helps to ensure strong leadership for the future.

The Nevada Coalition for Suicide Prevention and the Nevada Office of Suicide Prevention will co-sponsor the Reno Community Walk on Satuday, September 11. This document addresses the research needs of the occupational safety and health community within the Healthcare and Social Assistance (HCSA) industrial sector and identifies research opportunities for the coming decade.

On Monday, September 13, 2010, from 8am-9:30am PST, the San Francisco Regional Office of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) will host a conference call to discuss details of the CMS Medicare and Medicaid Electronic Health Records (EHR) Incentive Programs for eligible professionals and hospitals located in Nevada.  This conference call will discuss who is eligible for the program, how providers can qualify, and how much payment providers may be eligible to receive.  Registration is not required for the call but the call is limited to 150 lines.
