The Nevada Nurses Association is Calling for Nominations...
It's time to step up...It's time to lead, not follow...
It's time to get passionate...It's time to get involved!!!

Greetings!

This year presents a great opportunity for members to participate in a leadership role at both the state and district levels.  NNA is looking for positive, motivated and dedicated nurses to bring their passions and ideas forward and participate as leaders for the organization.  We are looking for dedicated nurses to fill positions for the NNA State Board and NNA District III(Southern Nevada).  This is an exciting time as our activities increase and committees continue to grow at the state level while District III gains new interest and momentum.

This is an exciting time for NNA as the number of activities increase and our committees continue to grow at the state level while District III gains new interest and momentum.  NNA is also in the process of restructuring its districts to be more inclusive.  For many years, several smaller districts have remained inactive with no real means for us to reach out to those in the relatively distant areas of Nevada.  NNA will now have two main districts. District I for Northern Nevada & District III for Southern Nevada. NNA's intent is to reach out to more nurses throughout Nevada and improve our efforts to come together as one nursing community.

Our hope is to broaden the districts and strengthen our leadership while improving communication with all members....and we need your help!!!

Nurses are the largest pool of healthcare providers and yet, many of us live in isolation and remain strangers to each other.  With recent economic struggles and difficult job markets, there has never been a better time to come together as a networking community.  Whether you are already a member, or you are considering renewal or new membership, please act now to keep your membership alive and participate in a leadership role.

If you are interested in running for any of the  positions listed below, or if you know of a Registered Nurse who you would like to nominate, please reply to this email with as much contact information as possible and we will contact all nominees to begin the process.

Ballots will go out soon and all terms for these positions begin in October, 2010 so don't delay... don't hesitate... send in your nominations today.  If you have any questions about the positions listed, please send us an email or give us a call and we will respond as quickly as possible.

Thank you in advance for your interest and your willingness to serve in the Nevada Nurses Association.

Best Regards,
