Last month
MBYP held its first ever Beer Festival on April 21 at John Elway's Manhattan Beach Toyota. With over 300 young professionals in attendance, it was the largest event in MBYP's short 3-year history. It's no wonder when you combine beer from 12 different breweries, food from 7 local restaurants, and live music from two amazing bands. Young professionals from all over LA came out to network and sample some tasty treats.
Thanks to everyone's support, the event raised almost $8,000 for the chamber of commerce and MBYP's charity, We Can Pediatric Brain Tumor Network.
In addition to the monies raised, over 100 pairs of shoes were collected to aid the victims of the recent Japan tsunami and earthquakes.
A big thanks goes out to Todd Anderson and Kelly Parker, the event organizers, plus all of the sponsors that were involved.
