Volunteer Event

Project Needs Food Pantry
 MBYP volunteers are needed to help Project Needs with their food pantry day. The event consists of organizing and handing out grocery items to needy members of the community. This will be the third time MBYP has volunteered at this event, and participants always find it fun and fulfilling.
We need for 8-10 volunteers on Thursday, Nov. 18th from 8:30 am to 11:00 am.

Member Spotlight: Jake Dax

The Manhattan Beach Young Professionals are proud to announce Jake Dax as MBYP's Honorary Member of the Month for November. The group recognizes a Member of the Month that has contributed above and beyond the call of duty for the Manhattan Beach Young Professionals.
 As the Chair of the Manhattan Beach Young Professionals, Jake is excited to see how the group of business professionals continues to grow. With more people within the group and local community stepping up and getting involved, to help take MBYP to the next level. Jake joined the Board of Directors of the MBYP in 2009, and continues to volunteer his time for the chamber, as well as gives back to the South Bay community.
Jake's passion for helping people civically, parallels well with his profession as a Financial Planner. As a Financial Planner with Dax & Associates, a financial advisory practice of Ameriprise Financial Services, Inc., he helps people feel confident as they take on the challenge of organizing and managing their own finances, as well as saving money for future goals. |
