MBYP Comedy & Magic Club Fundraiser
 On Wednesday, September 29, the Manhattan Beach Young Professionals held its annual fundraiser at the Comedy and Magic Club in Hermosa Beach. More than 150 young professionals from around the South Bay came out for a fun-filled evening. The evening began with networking and ended with a comedy show. The event raised money for We Can, a local organization that supports children with brain injuries.

MBYP Regional Holiday Party
Save the Date, December 9, for MBYP's annual Regional YP Holiday Party Mixer. Details will follow shortly.
The event will include, dinner, drinks, lots of networking and a silent auction to raise money for our 2010-11 charity, We Can.

Member Spotlight: Jeff Wilson

The Manhattan Beach Young Professionals are proud to announce Jeff Wilson as MBYP's Honorary Member of the Month for October. The group recognizes a Member of the Month that has contributed above and beyond the call of duty for the Manhattan Beach Young Professionals.
Jeff Wilson, owner of JW Party Pictures, opened his event photography business in 1989 and developed his unique panorama photography art in 2002. He is the Chairman of PMA's (Photo Marketing Association Int.)Portrait and Event advisory committee and is a speaker at the annual convention. He volunteers as the official photographer for MBYP and is the co-chair for MBYPs Events Committee. Jeff is the Current President of the MB Kiwanis Club (MBYPs Platinum Sponsor). He has been a Kiwanis member for 20 years and welcomes MBYP members to join.
His objective when photographing the panoramas is to give his customer the unique sense that they are actually at the location and not just looking at a photograph. You can see his work on-line and at the MB Hometown Fair as well as the Fiesta Hermosa.
