From the President

In March, LTC closed its school year with two special events.  The first one was Homecoming.  This was the second Homecoming LTC has hosted and the turn-out was really good.

Faculty and Alumni enjoyed two days of fellowship, testimonies and encouragment.     It is a joy to hear how God is using our graduates throughout the region.

One story in particular stood out.  You can read how LTC graduate, "Sam" stood firm in the face of persecution by clicking here:  Still before the Storm

Community of Blessing

NCC teamCOB led another Mobile Clinic team in March.   Ken and Kathy were joined by a team from Naperville Christian Church in Naperville Ill.    The team spent the first week organizing and completing an inventory of medicines, supplies and 2,000 pairs of eye glasses!

The second week, the team was joined by LTC students for 4 days of clinics among the Lahu Chale people of northern Thailand.

The Lahu Chale are a smaller poor people group.  LTC professor, Mr Bandit and  his wife Mai help to minister to these villages every weekend.   The team saw 350 patients and the eye clinic team gave away 70 pairs of glasses.

Mr Bandit told us that the presence of the team opens up doors for sharing the gospel as people experience the love and concern from the Christians.   He added that many people asked him why the Christians cared so much and took the time to listen and help.  What a great opportunity to explain God's love for them.

Please continue to pray for the Lahue Chale as they are deeply fearful of the spirits and spend a  great deal of their meager income to appease the spirits.   Pray for Mr Bandit and the handful of evangelist who faithfully serve this people group.   Click here to see more pictures
