Greetings!

Who needs another excuse to bead?  Christmas time is coming and why not use your love of beading to create great gifts for friends and family?  Or create a pair of earrings to go with that super new dress?  Or maybe just fun jewelry to spread a bit of seasonal cheer?

We have been making a few festive goodies (many with the children!) and would love to share some, quick, fun and simple suggestions for inspiration.  Like we always say, they are just starting points, waiting for your imagination to take them to the next level.

Memory Wire Napkin Rings

Christmas Wreath Earrings using Beading Hoops
Quirky Christmas WreathsWho says purple isn't Christmasy?Your imagination is the limit using these beading hoops which come in 20mm and 40mm diameters, in gold and silver plating.
We used 8mm Druk Rounds in Lilac Mix to create the larger ones, with a purple bow of organza ribbon tied to the top.  Who says Christmas has to be red and green (especially if you are wearing purple!!)?
For the smaller ones, we used some leftover 6/0 and 11/0 seedbeads in our bead box and some red ribbon for a more traditional look.
You could also use these beaded hoops to make present decorations or tree trimmings too!
They are easy and fun, and another great project to do with the kids.



The Perfect Seasonal Gift!

what happens when our flash hits the Miracle Beads!
 Using ring-sized  Memory Wire, we have made this cute set of Angel Wine Charms- a perfect gift for friends and neighbours with a carefully selected bottle of wine.

Quick and easy to make, these cute little charms were made with 4mm Miracle Beads and 11/0 Crystal Silver Lined Seed Beads.  Just turn the ends  with your round nose pliers to keep the beads on, and attach an angel charm (or whichever ones you prefer!) to the end.  Make sure to choose a different color scheme for each charm.

CAT'S EYE CHIPS GIVE THEM AN
ICY, TEXTURED LOOK AND FEEL
 These are always so much fun to make, and the possibilities are just endless.  They are a great project to do with the family, group or children's parties.  If you are entertaining lots of kids this month, why not occupy them with a table of goodies for making snowflakes?

We used Wire Snowflakes, Cat's Eye Rounds, Seed Beads and 3mm Silver Plated Rounds for the ends.

Miracle Beads would be great for kid's projects, or Preciosa Crystal would be stunning to make a set of keepsake 'flakes for your tree.
