National CooperativeRx Presents:

A Physician's Perspective on e-Prescribing

A Noon Hour Webinar with Dr. Trevver Buss, Prairie Clinic

and Wayne Salverda, National CooperativeRx

12:00 Noon-1:00 CST, May 19, 2011

Description:   During this hour, Dr. Trevver Buss and Wayne Salverda will update stakeholders on the current climate for e-prescribing and  the significant benefits and cost savings opportunities for health plans.  They will also review obstacles that stand in the way of its wider adoption and talk about key messages for employers in encouraging this game changing technology.

Dr. Trevver Buss is a family practice physician at the Prairie Clinic in Sauk City, Wisconsin. When we asked the Wisconsin Medical Society to help us find a physician leader on e-prescribing who could work with us to understand the physician perspective, Dr. Buss was immediately recommended. He's joined by our own pharmacist, Wayne Salverda, who will offer his perspective from the pharmacy end and detail ways the coalition is working with physicians to save plans money through e-prescribing.
