Coaliton News

National CooperativeRx members and enrollees will now benefit from a streamlined redesign of the Caremark website that will make it easier for consumers to access customized information about their prescription plan. Upon logging in to the new site, enrollees will now see a "personal dashboard" where they can view information unique to their account, prescriptions and plan. Plan Sponsors can access client tools from the "For Employers and Medical Plan Providers" link in the footer through the site. Plans may wish to share this FAQ from Caremark with their enrollees.

Also, the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency will sponsor a second annual National Take Back Day on Saturday,  April 30, 2011 in cooperation with local law enforcement agencies.

Prescription and over-the-counter medicines are the most frequently abused drugs by adolescents, and parents and relatives often have no idea that these drugs are being taken from their homes, their medicine cabinets or their trash. We hope our members and stakeholders will spread the word about National Take Back Day.  For more information or to find a collection site, please visit our website.

April Co-op Feature

95 Percent Rebate True-Up.  In addition to quarterly rebate guarantees, National CooperativeRx has also negotiated as part of its contract an additional "95% true-up." This means if the per claim rebates do not equal at least 95% of the total rebates our PBM collects over a 12 month period, the difference up to 95% is collected and distributed to members. It keeps our PBM motivated while ensuring our members get what they deserve.  We return one hundred percent of all collected rebates to our members.  Visit our website for more information.
