SAVINGS TIP OF THE WEEK!

When doing laundry, save energy, time and money by using shorter wash cycles. According to the Whirlpool Institute of Fabric Science, six to eight minutes is plenty if clothes or linens have been used just a few times and are not stained.

MAGNET WARNING!

So many purses and wallets now come with those handy magnetic closures, but they may be strong enough to deactivate your credit cards. The First Data Payment Processing Company of Atlanta warns that some  store  security-tag  deactivators can also damage the cards. Keep your cards in a section of your wallet or purse far away from the magnets. Avoid the security-tag remover by always handing your card directly to the cashier rather than placing it on the counter.
