LET US ALL COUNT OUR BLESSINGS!
TODAY AND EVERY DAY!!
There is little doubt that we have FLASHERS that have spanned the range of experiences this past year! Regardless of where your personal comfort meter is these days there is no doubt that you still have an endless list of things to be grateful for! I share with you something that my incredible, wise and giving mother imbedded in me... Always make time to help others! There is always someone with a greater load to bear than that which you are currently having to endure! Seek those out and lend a helping hand. You will soon find that you yourself are feeling pretty darn good! Always stop to give thanks and remember to embrace an attitude of gratitude in your daily lfe!
So, what is on my personal gratitude list??
1. My incredible husband and three AMAZING kids who are all in from college for
Thanksgiving! Things are back to normal for a few short days and I'm loving it!
2. My amazing Mother!! She is a rock in my life and I don't know what I would do
without her!
3. My Sister, Suzy who is always there for me and such a big help with FLASH!
4. Health... Something we took for granted when we were younger.
5. Friends - both old and new! You make each day more meaningful, fun and I enjoy
being connected to you and don't know what I would do without you in my life!
6. My new found 'FLASHER' friends! Thank you so much for embracing FLASH! We are
thrilled with the response we have received in the past eight months and we
look forward to growing with you in the years to come!

SKATE YOUR TURKEY OFF ... FOR FREE!
The Skate Factory, 485 27th Avenue SW, Vero Beach, is offering free admission on Thanksgiving evening. They will be closed during the day, and the free "Skate Your Turkey Off" will be 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. In addition, anyone who brings a nonperishable canned food item will get a free slush puppie at the concession stand (limit one can per person). DOWNTOWN DINE & DESIGN HOLIDAY STROLL
 On Wednesday, December 1, come enjoy a festive time from 4:00 to 7:00 pm in Vero Beach's historic area between 15th Ave and Old Dixie Hwy, south of Rt 60 to 18th Street. Children and school groups will be performing holiday music while you stroll through the variety of studios, galleries, shops, and restaurants. 5TH ANNUAL VERO BEACH BOAT PARADE & TREE LIGHTING
Friday, December 3; 6-8 p.m.
The City of Vero Beach will host a Boat Parade & Christmas Tree Lighting on Friday, December 3 at Royal Palm Pointe. The Tree Lighting Ceremony starts the festivities at 6:00 pm. For the last 3 years the Vero Beach Art Club has put on a tour around Vero of ten artist's studios/homes and each year the event gets bigger. Last year the tour was sold out so be sure to get tickets early (sales begin in November). Artists range from sculptors, jewelers, potters, painters, fiber artists and photographers plus more. This is an opportunity to view their work as you are treated to an intimate peek into the process while hearing the artists tell about their personally unique techniques. Ten studios/homes are open from 10 am to 4 pm and may be visited in any order at your own pace. Light refreshments will be served at each stop. This is a great way to unwind before the holidays and possibly find that perfect present for someone special (which could be you) who would love to own a unique work of art. Make this a great day to vist with friends or partneers as you are immersed in the artist experience. Tickets to this event are also a great pre-holiday present to give to employees, your volunteers or to a group of friends.
