2007 TwentyFour By Charles Woodson - Napa Red Wine
2007 was the definition of ideal vintage in Napa Valley -- A cold, dry winter, minimal spring rains, and a summer that was characterized by very mild temperatures that allowed fruit to mature slowly. In turn, this allowed the winemaker to harvest fruit at a calm pace once ideal flavors arrived. The result a tranquil harvest with extraordinary concentration.

The smaller than usual berries produced a wine of exceptional grace and intensity. Freshly toasted hazelnut aromas invite the taster to experience a wine interwoven with layers of familiar flavors such as black plums, black cherries, framed by elegantly soft and creamy tannins. The long, savory finish is supplemented by background hints of a seemingly familiar spice that provokes another taste. Aged in 100% French oak barrels. The 2007 vintage is enjoyable now and will age gracefully when cellared.
2008 TwentyFour By Charles Woodson - Napa Red Wine
The growing season for the 2008 vintage saw a bit of everything. A lack of rainfall in the winter was followed by a surprising freeze in April and dramatic heat waves in May and August. While these conditions resulted in much smaller than average crops, the fruit that was produced presented powerful tannins, well balanced acidity and an elegant mix of flavors.
