This will be my last letter as Chair of the YPN.  Our incoming chair Mac Cassity is a terrific business person and entrepreneur.  I know he will bring great ideas and energy to the group.  I want to take a moment to thank all of you who are involved with YPN.  This group has been a large part of my life for the past four years.  I have made some good friends and made a lot of business connections.  None of that would have been possible without the support of all of you.  I also want to send a special thank you to our Steering Team.  They have put in long hours beside me to build this group to what it is today.  I encourage all of you to continue to spread the word about this group to your friends and co-workers.  The more people that get involved the better the organization will be.  I hope that everyone continues to push to make this organization even better than it is today.  We have changed so much over the past two years.  We introduced a stronger philanthropic presence in the community and have grown our networking events to be some of the best around.  We have expanded our role in community advocacy by getting involved in local politics that will directly impact our age group.  We have even gone as far adding family events where people can grow relationships more on a personal level.  All these things have transformed this group into something great.  I am sad to be leaving but excited to stay involved and to see this group grow.  Again thanks to everyone who has made all of this happen!
