Pen and Ink from the Executive Director
Since June first we have had four shows in the gallery and three in the lobby.  Our fundraisers have been overwhelmingly successful, starting with the Garden Tour and soon followed by Art & Soul.  Both exceeded our expectations.  We are fortunate to have so many active volunteers willing to put in the time and effort to make these events come alive and successfully support the Guild.
RECENT EVENTS
Our shows have included Falmouth Schools 3D Art, The Monotype Guild of New England, Fiber Art and Pottery, and the current Summer Juried Show.  The end of August will feature the Student, Faculty and Members Show.  It is wonderful to see constantly revolving collections of art in so many mediums. For all of you who have contributed and helped to bring these shows together, we thank you.  We hope we can continue to offer a wide variety of art to the community and we welcome your ideas of how we can truly be a center for all of the visual arts.
CLASSES
We are in the process of developing our fall lineup of class and workshop offerings and hope to accommodate the requests and suggestions of our teachers, as well as our students.  Please sign up quickly so that you will not be disappointed.

I wish to thank all of our generous supporters who have made contributions to the Artist Guild over the last two months. Your support is crucial to our success and helped us to receive a matching grant of $5,000.  Additionally, I would like to thank those who have kicked off the Elevator Fund with donations given at Art & Soul. Meeting our annual budget is always a challenge, and we constantly have to make the effort to appeal to new audiences interested in what we do.

Each day that I come to work I am excited to be around so much beautiful art and to be able to interact with our artists, students, patrons and the community.

My office door is always open, and I look forward to your visits.

Come try out a class, or give this coupon to a friend. We encourage people try out our classes.  Rules:
One Free Art Class must be reserved via the office.  There is a maximum of 2 Free coupons allowed per class date. Visitors must be new to the class and may sample a specific class one time.  Free Art Class coupon cannot be used to reduce the cost of a class for which you would like to register.  Students are responsible to bring any class materials. This coupon does not apply to workshops or high school and kids classes.  Print and mail in the coupon to PO Box 660, Falmouth, MA 02541 or call the Art Center office at 508-540-3304.
