America Recycles Day

Description: America Recycles Day (ARD), November 15, is the only nationally recognized day dedicated to encouraging Americans to recycle and to buy recycled products.  Such organizations as America Recycles Day and the National Recycling Coalition (NRC) support local communities and raise awareness by educating citizens about the benefits of recycling.  Read more here.

 

Fairfax Green Drinks

Green Drinks is a social networking group for individuals interested in environmental issues and practices.  Once a month, people around the world that work in the environmental field or are interested in the environment, meet up in their communitiesfor happy hour at informal sessions known as Green Drinks. It is an opportunity for the local sustainability community to socialize, network, and learn from one another. It's a great way of catching up with people you know and also for making new contacts.  You can find information on the speaker on the Green Drinks website.

Along with their fine antiques and painted furniture, you will find at their newly redecorated shop several lines of new high-quality furniture and one-of-a-kind garden items, lamps, and floral arrangements. Don't forget to check out both floors of the large shop. They offer great shopping with a fantastic selection of antiques and accessories.             Auntie TE's Consignment Boutique is located in Bradlick Shopping Center in Springfield, Virginia.  Auntie TE's specializes in women's designer clothing, jewelry, designer handbags, home decor & shabby chic furniture.  They are happily celebrating 20+ years in business with a new location! Auntie TE's has recently moved back to Annandale and has expanded with new items; including funky jewelry, sophisticated handbags, shabby chic hand-painted furniture, among other fabulous things at shockingly low prices.  The owner makes regular shopping trips to New York City for the newest trends taken from Auntie TE's website. Stop by and check them out!  We're sure you'll find something really cool...and at a bargain!  And, they are located less than five minutes from the ReBuild warehouse.
