ReBuild Retro Materials Travel to California!
We received a phone call this month from California. The call was from a fabulous woman inquiring about two of our super cool retro sinks. She had seen our "Blast-From-The-Past" flier (from our June sale), and thought the sinks would be a great addition to her home. The next day we had the privilege of meeting her Mother, who lives locally, when she came by the warehouse to purchase the items. While we are sad to see them go, as they are quite unique, we are very excited to know they are on their way to someone who will truly appreciate all their beauty. Below are images of the sinks, complete with late 1960's Hudee Rings.

Exclusive Update on our Granite!
While we have several beautiful pre-cut granite pieces, as of July 23th we have ONLY FIVE full size un-cut slabs of granite left from our original donation.
No two pieces are alike!
Dimensions are either 76" long or 96" long and depths vary.

We still have one more demonstration this month for our "Artist Series". Tomorrow, Saturday July 25th , Amy Bruce will be here in the warehouse from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. She will be combining 125 year old lumber with modern digital photography.

We all work hard to keep our warehouse clean and organized. We are all dedicated to assisting our customers to the best of our ability. But most of all - WE HAVE FUN!

As The ReBuild Warehouse begins its fifth month of operation, customers and sales continue to surge. However, until we are able to reach profitability (with sales exceeding expenses), we cannot actively pursue our main mission which is to train hard-to-place workers for new "green collar" jobs. Our economy is still in a recession and there are plenty of the marginally employable who do not have the skills to compete in these industries which currently are the focus of much of the federal stimulus money and the ones likely to lead us out of this recession. Your tax-deductible contributionwill go towards the establishment of our "Green Collar Training Program" and the initial classes of deserving trainees in such fields as home weatherization, green roof installation, solar panel and solar hot water installation, and storm water runoff prevention, and more.
