 All About "ME" (Machine Embroidery)

Join us this month for our Bernina Webinar featuring Birds & Blooms designs. We will discuss using Transfer Paper to create our own fabric to match the designs that we will be using to make these two projects. One is the "Pockets A Plenty" tote bag and the other is "The Classic Clutch". Together this is a great travel pair. When is the best time to do embroider-before cutting the pattern or after? We will discuss the pros and cons.

 8 Series Mastery Class 1 of 2

This class is geared for the 830 and 820 owners. Class one is open to both, however class two covers embroidery which is not available for the 820 owners. You will be getting to know your machine a little better. Class one will review Decorative Stitches, Combi Mode, Alphabet, Automatic Buttonholes, BSR and much more.
This class is Free to 8 Series Owners if purchased at Nancy's. There is a fee if machine was purchased elsewhere. All are welcome.

Learn the basics of using your BSR. Learn how this wonderful tool helps with free motion quilting. We will be referring to the book "Machine Quilting Made Easy" by Maurine Noble. It has excellent needle, thread and batting references. |

Use Fat Quarters or Layer Cakes (10"squares) and Jelly Rolls (2 1/2"strips) to make this colorful Lap Quilt. It is fun and easy to do. Finished size is 58" x 85". This is a great class to take as a follow-up to the Beginning Quilting.

Our monthly get together for sewing, friendship and fun! A whole day to spend sewing with your old friends and some new ones, too. You bring your machine, supplies and projects and we provide plenty of space to spread out, support, advice, encouragement and entertainment, too!
This month we are having two Sew Days-Don't miss out. The second one is Thursday, September 20. Don't forget if you are participating in the travel exchange bring them on the 20th.
