His Holiness Buddha Maitreya's next Dharshan is November 14th - 15th at the Church of Shambhala Vajradhara Maitreya Sangha Monastery, in Lake County, California.  100% of all Dharshan offerings go to support our worldwide charitable activities including the ongoing construction of the monastery.  Please scroll down for the latest updates - there has been great progress made the last couple of months!

You can donate online for the project, choosing to donate towards a list of items and services needed, such as LED light bulbs, carpeting, furniture and excavation.

If you would like to share information about the project with others we now have fundraising packs (DVD & brochure) available for purchase in quantities of 5 or 10.  We also have a more detailed binder of information available - please call.

  • Total Project Estimated Cost: $2.25 M
  • Amount Raised to date: $850,000
  • Amount need to complete Phase 1 (Center Pyramid, North & South Domes): $100,000
  • Amount needed to commence Phase 2 (construct outer shells of 4 remaining domes): $200,000
Current Status:
  • Phase 1 completion scheduled for November 2009
  • Interior work is ongoing in North and South Domes
  • $100,000 is now needed to keep construction going through October 2009
