Greetings!
Collaborative approaches can be a solution for foundations seeking to make a regional impact through the use of PRIs. They can also be a means for smaller foundations to leverage their funds by partnering with regional and national foundations and government. Home Funders is one such partnership that is producing impressive results in the form of new housing for low-income families. Highlighted in this month's Impact Investing for Community Foundations webinar, Home Funders pools PRIs to make capital available to developers as acquisition, predevelopment, bridge and permanent loans. Participating foundations include Network members The Boston Foundation, The Annie E. Casey Foundation, The F.B. Heron Foundation and The Hyams Foundation.
