Greetings!

Community foundations have lots of options in crafting impact Marc RandDebbie Rooneyinvestment strategies. As part of our current webinar series, Debbie Rooney described the Vermont Community Foundation's  experience over ten years with local impact investing, including cash deposits, bonds, loans and venture capital targeted within Vermont. Marc Rand discussed Marin Community Foundation loan programs for nonprofit organizations. Vermont makes extensive use of intermediaries. Marin makes loans directly and engages donors as impact investors. Each community foundation's investing program is different, but all have the flexibility to use these tools. Click here to register for the remainder of the series or email us to access the recording. For more examples of community foundation investments go to: Equity Advancing Equity.
