The PRI Makers Network would like to introduce you to our new information resources manager, Paul Feldman.

Greetings!
All children need access to medical services as well as safe places to live, play, and go to school. As we know too well, not all children have these. The California Endowment's (TCE's) Building Healthy Communities Initiative aims to change that.
Such an ambitious goal requires new tools, strategic partnerships, community collaboration and capital. The California Endowment announced $7.25 million in new program-related investments just this month. Along with TCE's ongoing work in communities and engagement with public and private partners, the investments will advance an exciting, holistic approach to securing bright futures for children.

These bonds are a way to use non-grant capital to implement evidence-based prevention programs and catalyze systems change. Representatives of Social Finance, which created the first social impact bond to address recidivism at the Peterborough Prison, will share their experiences as context for the fast-moving efforts in the U.S. to develop social impact bonds.
