Greetings!
As an indication of the important role that social investing can play internationally, the U.S. State Department is sponsoring a series of discussions on ways to "mobilize capital, scale enterprises, and work with large corporations to achieve social and environmental impact." Comments on how the government can expedite progress on these issues are welcomed from philanthropy and other sectors. The goal is to develop a set of initiatives that could be kicked off as early as Fall 2011. Let us know your ideas, or send your comments directly to the Office of Global Partnership Initiatives.
