Call Rep. Peter DeFazio to urge him to vote against the "supplemental" spending bill that will for fund the expansion of the war in Afghanistan.

NOW is the time to do this. The House of Representatives will vote either this week or next.
Why do this? DeFazio is against the Afghanistan war and has voted for an exit plan, but needs a nudge to vote against the funding of the war (especially if some attractive things get added to the bill in an attempt to force wavering members of Congress to vote for the funding)
Very few voters are calling with concerns about the Afghanistan war, though we know that the majority of people are against the war. Peter DeFazio needs to hear from us. Senator Wyden recently voted against Afghanistan War funding because folks from all across Oregon urged him to take a stand against the war.
