Six months ago an amazing invitation came in the mail!

I knew it was coming, but I didn't expect that small package would hold so much persuasive power.
After all, I was certain I wasn't going off to Marrakech. "This is not a good time to travel. I need to stay focused on my business. I need to stay home", I kept telling myself as my hands caressed the gilt edges of the invitation and my mind started to wander off to this far away place.

The allure of travel will get me every time. Why not Marrakech? Why not me? Why not use frequent flier miles? And in these difficult times, shouldn't we be there for our friends when they celebrate their birthdays in Marrakech? Yes, yes, yes...
