We continue to seek stories from previous walkers and are also looking for photos.

What's new in 2010?
Walk Wisconsin shifts start times, new route planned

Based on feedback received from last year, it was determined that start time for the Quarter Marathon would be earlier. This will relieve congestion for walkers through the Schmeeckle Reserve section of the route.

Stevens Point Sculpture Park
All three routes will change a little bit this year so we can experience something we thing is going to be pretty special.Next June, the beginning stages of a new sculpture park will be initiated. We are changing the northern portion of the trail so we can walk through that feature a week before the grand opening.  Walk Wisconsin participants will be the first to see what we think will become a major art attraction in Central Wisconsin.

What Other People are Saying

"We were inspired by the young and old participants. Hope to make the trip again!"

"I was out on my bike, supporting my sister as she attempted the marathon. Unfortunately she was short and only made it 20.5 miles, but she was in good spirits and was already talking about trying again next year. She only had good things to say about this event. I've participated in numerous multi-sport endurance races and was very impressed with Walk Wisconsin! You did a fantastic job!"

"Stevens Point really rolls out the red carpet and makes us feel very welcome. We absolutely loved all the trails."

We want to hear from you.
