FREE Partner Perks Announced for 2010
The Stevens Point Area Convention & Visitors Bureau is pleased to announce the continuation of the FREE Partner Perks through 2010.
Partner Perks are an added value for all Partners In Tourism, and offer a direct link to connect with potential visitors. These programs were created to increase visibility and awareness about the individual attractions, shopping, dining and points of interest that make our area unique.
Promoting Partners Display - This consists of a display in the Visitor Information Center. The display allows Partners to showcase themselves in the visitor center. This opportunity is available on a monthly basis. Call 715-344-2556 or email Melissa for availability. (Hidden Studios Art Tour Display shown below)

Visitors Guide Delivery - This will allow you to be a distribution point for the 2010 Stevens Point Area Visitors Guide directly to you. This year, more than 70 locations throughout the area participated. Guides are delivered on a monthly basis, based on supply/demand. Sign-up today! (Display Holders will be supplied, free of charge, to new locations in 2010.)
We are also proud to continue to offer some of the same great promotional assistance to our Partners, with the Brochure/Menu distribution in the Visitor Information Center. This allows you to display your collateral material like a business brochure, take-out menu, or other marketing piece.

On the Road: Tourism Promotion
The Stevens Point Area Convention & Visitors Bureau has been traveling to promote travel in the area this fall.
To promote the Stevens Point area to meeting and convention planners throughout the Midwest, we will be attending a number of events. On November 12, December 10 & 15, the CVB will attend the Wisconsin Chapter of Meeting Professionals International (WMPI) Fall Education Day, Wisconsin Society of Association Executives (WSAE) Holiday Program, and the 2009 Holiday Showcase, respectively. These shows specifically target meeting planners and allow us to showcase the area and our services directly.
In collaboration with the Central Wisconsin Tourism Association and Northcentral Wisconsin ITBEC, the Stevens Point Area Convention & Visitors Bureau will be promoting leisure and group travel in 2010. These shows allows us to highlight all the area has to offer for leisure travelers and outdoor recreationalists. For more information contact our office at 715-344-2556. |
