Yellowstone Trail Wisconsin Trip Guide

In partnership with American Road Magazine, the YellowstoneYellowstone Trail Wisconsin Trail Wisconsin Association has produced a Yellowstone Trail Wisconsin Trip Guide. The Guide is designed to guide travelers along Wisconsin's section of the Yellowstone Trail from Kenosha to Hudson.  It will contain detailed maps, a mile-by-mile description of things to look for and do, and loads of history about the Trail.

The YT Wisconsin Trip Guide is a mile by mile guide to travel across Wisconsin. Throughout, it will pull visitors from the freeways to the Yellowstone Trail. As a linear trip guide, it will funnel tourists to the door of businesses, museums, or historic sites along the route.

Going Viral: Utilizing Social Media to Promote Travel

The Stevens Point Area Convention & Visitors Bureau is now using Social Media in marketing the area. To fully utilize the medium in 2010, the SPACVB started a Facebook Fan Page this year to begin establishing a fan base.

This page will be visitor-focused, for the general promotion of the area as a leisure destination, specifically focusing on events, attractions, sports and recreation, dining and lodging. The key components of the site, include linking back to the SPACVB website, as well other news sites, as well as using a multi-media approach, incorporating photos and videos. Become a fan of the Stevens Point Area Convention & Visitors Bureau to learn more about what we are doing.

If you have a page for a local organization or business, please email us. In 2010, we will be linking social media sites to Partner Pages and will be sending out information to our Partners In Tourism regarding this opportunity.
