There is additional guidance available from the IRS regarding whether or not employers must report the cost of healthcare related coverage and, if so, what is included.   This release is IRS Notice 2012-9.  Reporting does not mean the coverage is taxable.  The reporting is intended for the collection of useful information about the cost of healthcare coverage.
