Yelp Monocle
Are you familiar with Yelp, the online review site that has reviews of all businesses, far and wide?  There is a very cool app for the Droid phone now that allows you to hold up the screen and various nearby businesses will show where they are located in relation to where you are physically standing.

And, if you feel so inclined to write a review for AXICOM on Yelp, too, we'd be more than appreciative!
Google Sketchup
If you like to draw or create 3-D objects, Google's Sketchup might be for you.  Design your dream house or any building that you'd like.  Once designed, it can even be added to Google Earth!
Google
Wonder Wheel
To help with your website search engine rankings, check out the Google Wonder Wheel.  Using the Google Search Engine, type in the word or phrase that you think prospects or clients might use to find your business.  Then, on the left sidebar you will see the phrase "Wonder Wheel".  Click on it and you'll see other phrases that might be used.  Make sure to include these in your website to help boost your search engine rank.

Top 10 Cloud Computing Outages in 2010 to Date
A Brief Run Down

Cloud computing has been getting a lot of attention lately, some of it quite negative due to outages.  Here's a run-down of the Top 10 to date for this year.

1.  Intuit (Quickbooks Online, TurboTax Online, etc.) - June 15 marked a huge overnight outage that left thousands of SMB customers without the ability to process credit card payments and provoked widespread ire.

2.  Twitter - Granted, Twitter is not an essential service like Quickbooks online perhaps but still annoying when you're not able to Tweet about your morning visit to Starbucks! (OK, or your upcoming business seminars.)  Twitter blamed the numerous outages in June on events like the World Cup which taxed their system.
